MICHIGAN EVENT TEAM EXPECTATIONS
The Michigan Event Team is responsible for ensuring guests of Michigan Athletics feel welcome and that all policies and procedures are being followed. Our goal is to make the game day experience safe & enjoyable for all guests, while always striving to Provide Exceptional Experiences!

WHAT TYPES OF POSITIONS CAN I APPLY FOR?

The application to join the Event Team for the 2026 Football Season opens on February 2, 2026. We will accept applications through the beginning of April. Please find the link below:

You must be able to work Football to be considered for a spot on the Event Team.

GUEST SERVICES

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Answering questions, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback from guests
  2. Assisting the Operations and Events Team in providing exceptional customer service
  3. Providing service recovery when issues arise
  4. Working with all fellow Event Team Members to provide “Exceptional Experiences for Every Guest”
Response Team Member

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Assisting fellow Event Team Members in the handling situations that are in violation of Michigan Stadium policies
  2. Continually monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security of all guests
  3. Working with law enforcement representatives to deal with guest conduct/policy violations
Shuttle Drivers

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Ensuring that all shuttles are in good and safe working condition
  2. Transporting guests to their desired destinations
  3. Assisting the field and tunnel team with in-game transportation as needed
Ticket Takers

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests into Michigan Stadium
  2. Ensuring all guests have a valid ticket
  3. Enforcing the prohibited items policy as guests enter the stadium
Tower Attendants

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests into the towers
  2. Ensuring all guests entering the towers have proper credentials or tickets
  3. Enforcing the prohibited items policy as guests enter the towers
Ushers

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Greeting guests as they enter their section
  2. Making sure that guests have the proper tickets for the section they are in
  3. Assisting guests in locating their assigned seats
  4. Ensuring that their is an orderly flow of guests into and out of their section
  5. Monitoring your section to make sure all safety and security procedures are being followed
WHEELCHAIR ATTENDANTS

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Managing the flow of wheelchairs being used/returned
  2. Attending to the needs of guests with a disability to provide them the best experience possible
ALTERNATE/SUBSTITUTE

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Need for “fill-ins” every game
  2. Required to attend summer training session
  3. Chance to become a “full-time” member of the team!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Clothing Provided
Once hired, the basic uniform package needed to work all events is provided at no cost. Additional approved uniform options are available for purchase through an annual online store.
Parking
For team members working Football games and concerts, a free shuttle ride is provided from a local parking lot to Michigan Stadium.
Game Day Meal
For team members working Football games and concerts, a meal and beverage is provided during your shift.
Annual Appreciation Events
Annual team member appreciation events include a Michigan Stadium Family Fun Day as well as an Appreciation Dinner and Raffle!
Other Sports & Special Events
Event Team Members are needed for all home athletic events as well as some Special Events. Once you work Football, you will be eligible to work other sports and events!
